Democrats Scheming To IMPEACH Donald Trump Already

If it was Hillary Clinton who won the presidency, how long do you think it would be before she became but the second Clinton to be impeached? Her scandals are much worse than her husband getting to third base, after all. Benghazi, the emails, her foreign donors… the list goes on. Who knows what else could be discovered if a formal investigation was done into Hillary’s past?

She obviously didn’t win (thank God), and now it’s Trump that people are looking to impeach. But do they have a case? Of course not, the man hasn’t even taken office yet. They’re just a bunch of sore losers.

As TruthFeed reported:

A group of Senate Democrats will introduce legislation requiring President-elect Donald Trump to divest any financial assets that pose a conflict of interest and place the money into a blind trust.
The bill would also consider any violation by Trump of conflict of interest or ethics laws a “high crime or misdemeanor under the impeachment clause of the U.S. constitution,” according to a fact sheet on the forthcoming bill from Sen. Elizabeth Warren‘s office.
“The American people deserve to know that the President of the United States is working to do what’s best for the country — not using his office to do what’s best for himself and his businesses,” the Massachusetts Democrat said.
I imagine there are about two Democrats in the world who are actually financial literate enough to be able to define what a “blind trust” is.
Oh – and the bill probably isn’t Constitutional. Warren’s fact sheet describes the bill as an attempt to implement the Emoluments Clause, but her bill applies to all presidential financial conflicts of interest and the Emoluments Clause, er, doesn’t. It applies only in the narrow case of “emoluments” paid by a foreign state (or one of its holdings) to a federal official. The dispute over whether Trump will soon be in violation of the lease for his hotel in D.C., for instance, has nothing to do with the Emoluments Clause. For that reason alone, Warren’s bill would probably be shot down as an overbroad reading of the Clause.
Well, good luck with this Democrats. With Republicans controlling the House and Senate, it’s not like they’d be able to get anything productive done anyway.
