I guess they didn’t learn from the last “celebrity video” that this doesn’t help…at all. The last video was aimed towards the GOP electors, trying to get them to vote against Trump. This failed miserably and actually lead to more electors trying to defect from Hillary. Now they want Congress to act against Donald Trump.
From The Blaze:
The actors included Sally Field, Rosie Perez, and Steve Buscemi, and the actors in the clip told Congress to “vigorously oppose” any of President-elect Donald Trump’s “racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, anti-worker, anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic, anti-environmental policies.”
Using the hashtag #StandUpforUS, the video was created by the pro-Hillary Clinton social media campaign, previously called Humanity for Hillary. The group, now called Humanity for Progress, urged supporters to sign a MoveOn.org petition to be sent to members of Congress. The video was released Tuesday, the same day the new U.S. Congress was sworn in.
“We demand that you block nominees who threaten the rights of women, the LGBT community, people of color, immigrants and the poor,” said popular comedians Key and Peele.

“The majority of Americans, regardless of who they voted for, did not vote for racism, for sexism, or for xenophobia. And yet, Donald Trump won,” the actors expressed.
They continued, “We won’t remain silent. We’ll work harder to mobilize our votes, and our communities. But we need you and expect you to have our backs.”
